Why? Jesus invites us to a personal relationship with him. Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth and led a sinless life. He paid the price for our sin on the cross so we could have eternal life.

Imagine always having Jesus by your side, guiding you through the challenges of every day and giving purpose to your life. To follow Jesus is to walk in faith with our Lord and Savior in a deeply personal relationship with him.

We are honored to be part of your journey as you learn to follow Jesus Christ.

7 Attributes of a Follower of Jesus Christ

  • Learn to be with Jesus

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

  • Learn to Listen

Matthew 7:24-25 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

  • Learn to Heal

Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

  • Learn to Influence

Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

  • Learn to Love

Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

  • Learn to Pray

Matthew 6:9-13 This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’

  • Learn to Manage

Matthew 6:33  ”But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
